Anyone can submit posts here, regardless of race, color, creed or band affiliation. In fact, I welcome it. All you have to do is choose a subject pertinent to the blog, and write something interesting, and submit it edited and ready to post along with pictures, and your brief bio.

  • I want to hear about your country, culture and cuisine, so that at least our taste buds can travel even when we can’t.
  • Reviews of your favorite restaurants in your area, because you never know when I might need a good recommendation. These require good quality food photographs of the food that you write about.
  • Are you a qualified doctor, nutritionist, or trainer? My readers are always interested in advice on adapting to special diets, and on weight loss.
  • Do you have a great Friday Food Tip for us?
  • Plus I’m always interested in hearing about how the Personal Chef Approach™ has rocked your world, because there are as many different ways to apply it to your household as there are people using it!

BASIC GUIDELINES & INSTRUCTIONS

1). Most blog posts are 400-500 words. Please be sure to send only your own original material that has never been published before. Posts should be edited and ready to post, although I do reserve the right to make any editorial changes I feel necessary. Submitting is not a guarantee that your post will be published, but I will notify you when/if I do use your post.

2). Please include SEO keywords, a brief bio, plus your linkback information (maximum 1-2 approved links per post). If you have a new product you are promoting please let me know the details, however as a general rule, I do not do sponsored posts.

3). The blog is photo driven, so please include photos where possible, and make sure to include the source, if it is not your own photo. Please see tips below for taking food photos.

4). Any recipes that make sense with your story, or that you want to share are a plus, but please make sure they are tested, and give credit where credit is due – if it is not your original recipe, please include the author and source.

 FOOD PHOTO TIPS

Whenever possible, take photos in natural light. Think about composition, and be sure to get your photo in focus. If you don’t have a tripod, balancing the camera on a glass of water or something stationary will help. Either use the macro setting on your camera, or a macro lens if you have one of those fancy schmancy ones.
